Sarah
Minkiewicz-Breunig, of Minkiewicz
Studios, is a professional artist
specializing in realistic equine
sculpture art rendered in epoxy
clay, resin, slip-cast
earthenware ceramic and fine bone
china, with bronze in the future.
A founding member of RESS, the
Realistic Equine Sculpture
Society, she remains active in
this organization and recently
served as editor of the RESS
Techniques Booklet 2 and as a
juror for the RESS Sculpture
Contest in 2005. She is also a
member of the Equine Artist
Guild.
She has led seminars and clinics
on equine anatomy and
conformation interpreted into
sculpture, as well as writing
articles on the subject for
various related publications.
Sarah seeks to explore the
individual soul of the animal,
with deference to his biology and
integrity, all within a realistic
framework, making her work
popular among horse enthusiasts.
Indeed, her studio motto is
Celebrating the Spirit of Equus,
which she believes is the essence
of her artistic motivation. Sarah
and her husband reside in Boise.
The site is currently under
construction, although the
section concerning her resincast
sculptures is complete. If you
